Yoga, originally from India aims to balance mind, body and spirit in order to achieve a sense of well-being. The most comprehensive method of yoga, is the Kundalini, since it covers all aspects of yoga, it consists of eight basics: Yama (rules of behavior), Niyama (self-discipline), Asana (body postures), Pranayama (breathing discipline), Pratyahara (control of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), Samadhi (lighting and relaxation). Yoga is ideal for relaxing, you learn to take long, deep breathing combined with static exercises and of low intensity. Most of the exercises are performed with closed eyes to achieve a higher concentration and connection with our thoughts and perceptions. Movements performed in yoga can tone the circulatory system, facilitating the muscles and joints to eliminate calcium crystals, which will stimulate the intestinal peristalsis and the activity of other digestive organs. In addition, yoga also helps to improve the cardiovascular, lymphatic, and nervous system, it increases lung capacity, improves the flexibility and tones muscles.

In a study noted, after six months practicing yoga, an increase in lung capacity, weight loss, increased resistance to stress, reduction of cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
