Infantile hyperactivity is characterized by constant, restless movement of the child, difficulty to concentrate for long periods of time, trouble sleeping. There are more and more cases of children diagnosed with the disorder, which is treated with certain drugs. Luckily there is an alternative to the treatment of infantile hyperactivity, a correct diet, free of artificial dyes and food additives. It has been proven that certain additives and dyes can produce an allergic reaction in children, affecting their behavior. In a study conducted with children which eliminated sugar from their diet, bread, milk and meat, 60-95% of the symptoms improved. In another study where we removed any coloring and artificial flavoring hyperactivity disorder were normalized, thus we see that there is there is clear evidence that certain artificial additives cause childhood hyperactivity. The ONC journal published the foods that have been associated with infantile hyperactivity. Sugar - food additives (preservatives, colourings and sweeteners) - dairy products - wheat - egg - Chocolate - yeast - citrus - maize - soybean - apples - cherries - berries - grapes - orange - tea – tomato. The relationship of sugar with hyperactivity is due to deficiency of glucose caused by excess insulin. Children consume many foods high in sugar which raises insulin and have a glucose deficiency, which is necessary for the effective functioning of the brain. A decrease in performance was observed in a study in which administered 177 ml. of juice sweetened with an artificial sweetener to a number of children.

With respect to bread, the relationship is that with white bread, since by it is refinement is eliminates a large amount of zinc.

Check the labels and look for the nutritional value and the quantity of sugar that each product has per 100g. It is recommended to not exceed 5g of sugar.
